5 Ministry Pillars
  1. God’s Word, the Bible is the final authority for our life, faith and teaching. Our pupit ministry is devoted to the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. Every member must be taught to devote himself/herself to the personal study and application of Scriptures (Jn 8:31,32; 2 Tim 3:16-17; Heb 4:12; Eph 6:17; Rom 10:17; 2 Tim 2:15)

  2. Prayerful communion with God and dependence upon Him is the key to effective spiritual ministry. Therefore, every member is to devote himself/herself to both a personal and private discipline of prayer as well as be united in corporate prayer as a body of believers (Matt 6:6; 18:20; 1 Tim 2:1-3; Matt 21:22; Jas 5:14; Phil 4:6-7)

  3. We are to worship God in spirit and in truth. All our services must be acts of worship toward God for Who He is and what He has done. We are to inculcate in every member a spirit of worship on a personal and daily basis, which is then to culminate in a corporate celebration of worship on the Lord’s Day (Sunday) (Jn 4:20-24; Rev 4:10-11; Rom 12:1)

  4. Every believer is to be nurtured to maturity in Christ. This is to be done by the concerted discipline and use of the spiritual gifts that God has given to every believer. The spiritually mature is to help the weaker and younger in the faith by the process of mentoring and pastoral care. This process can take place within the cell groups where members can unite with a close-knit group of believers for the purpose of worship, fellowship, prayer, study of God’s Word, mutual ministry and outreach (Eph 4:11-16; Heb 10:23-25; Rom 15:1-3)

  5. Evangelism and missions are integral parts of the Great Commission. They are the reasons of our existence as a Church. We are to preach the Gospel “in season and out of season.” As ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ, we are to testify of Him both through local evangelism and overseas missions. We are to strategically plan for maximum effectiveness in our evangelistic and missionary efforts, with much intercession for the salvation of mankind (Matt 28:18-20; Cor 5:18-20; Acts 1:8)
