Rev
Jerry Goh - On Study Leave
Realizing
the great need and urgency of reaching out to the elderly
and having been given a strong burden from the Lord, I seek
to be further equipped for greater effectiveness in reaching
and following up the elderly.
Jerry Goh accepted Christ on 23 Oct 1973. He graduated from
the Singapore Polytechnic in 1984 with a Diploma in Mechanical
and Production Engineering and worked as a training officer
at VITB. In June 1988, Jerry and Evelyn were married. They
are parents of three children, Geraldine, Jensen and Joelene.
In July 1989, he entered Singapore Bible
College where he completed a Bachelor of Theology degree in
May 1993. He has served in both the youth
(SF) and
young adults (YA) ministries.
Since 1996, burdened for the salvation of the elderly, he
spent time visiting church members’ parents to pray and
share the gospel with them. A number of them were saved. In
1998, Jerry sensed the need for further training to
effectively minister to the elderly. Hence he left for
further studies to Logos Evangelical Seminary in California
and returned in 2000.
After serving several
years in our Elderly ministry, he went to Asbury
Theological Seminary in Kentucky, USA, in 2005 to do his 4-year doctoral
degree in missiology.

Pst
Goh Hiap Siang (Young Adults
Ministry)
To worship and obey the Lord
Jesus and teach His Word.
Goh Hiap Siang came to know the Lord in 1982 through a tract
that was given to him. A friend in school later invited him
to TPBC in 1983.
Before Hiap Siang joined the pastoral ministry full-time,
he was working as an engineer doing design and development
work. Through the many years of involvement in TPBCs
ministry, his love for God and His Word grew, leading him
to the decision to full time service so he could devote himself
to learn and teach Gods Word.
He graduated from Singapore Bible College
in 2002 with a Master of Divinity degree.
He is currently serving as the Young
Adults ministry pastor. He
married his wife, Angie, in 2002, and
they have 3 children (son Justin,
daughter Anna, and another son, Asher).
He is currently
pursuing his doctoral degree during his Sabbatical leave.
