  • Trainer Profile

    Kristen Tan is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher currently pursuing a degree in Arts Management at UAS. With seven years of experience in contemporary, hip hop, and street jazz, she has trained at DancePointe Academy, Oschool, and through various school dance CCAs. Kristen has choreographed for performances and competitions such as GTB and CODA, where both her solo and team pieces placed. Having taken on roles as a performer, choreographer, and teacher, she especially enjoys working with children and nurturing their creativity through dance. She is excited to bring her passion and experience to choreographing and teaching the children in the upcoming musical.

  • Trainer Profile

    Yulin Ng is an actress, host, acting coach, and writer. She graduated with a BA (Hons) Acting from Goldsmiths’s UoL, and has since furthered her training at prestigious schools such as the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, RADA, as well as with veteran Hollywood and Broadway actress, Diane Venora.

    She has worked in both international and local film & TV, and has also worked with established directors and theatre companies in Singapore. One of the notable works being Kooki’s Crafty Show, an international TV show (in which she plays the title character) won “Best Preschool Production” at the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2019.

    More recently, Yulin played Julie in “Rauman & Julie” (which she wrote), Catherine Wong in Fever’s “The Jury Experience”, the Red Queen in “Wonderland Upside Down”, Martha in Mediacorp’s “Provocative”, and hosted the 8-part documentary series “Future Food” for AsiaOne. You may also have spotted her in Standard Chartered Bank’s global ad campaign “Now’s Your Time for Wealth”. Passionate about sharing her craft, Yulin brings her rich experience and creative energy to inspire and engage audiences both young and old.

    Beyond her professional performances, Yulin is passionate about nurturing young talent, having taught drama to student from toddlers all the way up to adults — helping to develop their confidence, creativity, character/ humanity/ empathy and skills in drama and acting. It is a great privilege to have her join us as a coach for the musical, “You Are Special”.

  • Trainer Profile

    Chia Kun Loong is a seasoned music producer, performer, and educator in Singapore, best known as the founder of Soul Dot Pte Ltd and a key figure at TravelClef, a travelling music school that brings music to people of all ages.

    As a passionate singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he has taught guitar, ukulele, drums, cajon, and keyboard to thousands—from preschoolers to retirees—making music accessible, engaging, and deeply personal.

    Through Soul Dot, he channels his expertise into music production, songwriting, and praise and worship music, while also mentoring others in playing by ear and understanding music theory. His warm teaching style and belief that “anyone can make music” have made him a trusted guide for parents seeking meaningful enrichment for their children.


  • Prerequisites

    (Each instrument max 2 players):

    1. Cajon: A good sense of rhythm
    2. Keyboard: Have some piano or keyboard background
    3. Ukelele or Guitar: Able to play chords
    4. Vocal: Can keep a melody in tune and in rhythm
    5. Bass: Able to play guitar is a plus

  • Trainer Profile

    Chang Loong (CL) holds a diverse portfolio in still and moving images, working across a wide range of creative projects. His experience includes collaborations with renowned agencies such as Ogilvy Singapore, Muji Singapore and Splash Productions, as well as coverage of vibrant events and festivals at iconic venues like the Esplanade and the National Gallery Singapore. He also worked behind the scenes on the Singaporean film Army Daze, serving as Best Boy on set. In addition, his then-role leading an in-house production team gave him comprehensive experience in end-to-end production, from concept development to final delivery.

    Driven by a deep passion for visual storytelling and a desire to share it with young people (especially the underprivileged) who love the arts, CL has remained active in the non-profit sector. He currently heads the Communications department at a children's charity while passively running his own creative practice. Through both channels, he helps non-profit organisations use art, photography, and video to foster community engagement and to communicate their messages visually.

    CL occasionally conducts related workshops to encourage community engagement, family bonding, and mental wellness. He desires to inspire the next generation to discover the power of visual storytelling through his small contributions.
