Biblical Standing:

• Children have a special place in the Kingdom of God (Luke 18:16; Mark 10: 14, 15)
• Children are to be grounded in the Truth from a young age (Proverbs 22:6; Deuteronomy 6: 6-9; 3John 4)
• Children are capable of doing the work and will of God (Psalm 8:2; the examples of Samuel, David, etc)

Objectives:

• Evangelism—that children may have a personal relationship with Christ
• Enrichment—that children may grow in the Word of God and in Christ-likeness
• Equipping—that children may gain the knowledge and skills in serving God and others

Structure:

Pre-Nursery & Nursery Class (for ages 3 & 4)

Focus:  To introduce the children to the attributes of God so that they can learn to depend on Him in their daily lives.

Programme:  Play, songs, story, worksheets/crafts, memory verse

Pre-school Class (for ages 5 & 6)

Focus: To build in children, a better understanding on the knowledge of God and His love and to learn to praise/thank Him.

Programme:  Crafts/reading, songs, story, worksheets, and memory verse

Children’s Worship (for Primary 1 to 6 children)

Focus: To encourage children to grow as a child of God in the Truth, in the new life, in stewardship, in prayer, in caring, and in witness.

Time: Sunday, 8.45 to 9.15 am
         (except for 1^st Sunday of the month when children join the adults for          worship in the Sanctuary)

Elementary Classes (for Primary 1 to 4 children)

Focus: To develop children’s understanding of the Word of God and His will for them.

Focus: To equip children with Bible Study skills and be challenged to the life of a disciple of Christ
