The Elderly Ministry serves to build up the church through outreach to church members’ elderly parents and members of the community, sharing the gospel with them, winning them to Christ, and establishing them into a suitable fellowship or church group.

Cooperation with Logos Christian Church (LCC)
In March 1999, TPBC cooperated with our Chinese Congregation (LCC) to launch “The Song Bo Fellowship” and started the first Hokkien Fellowship Service. This was a once-a-month service. Today, the service is a twice-monthly worship service, held every 2nd and 4th Sunday at 9am.

Every first Saturday of the month, we host the Song Bo Morning Tea Fellowship. Attendance is between 40 – 60 people which includes friends of Song Bo Fellowship and elderly from the Lorong Ah Soo Community. The programme consists of first hour – food and fellowship and second hour – song, games, testimonies and sharing. From time to time, we also organize interesting programmes like outings, picnics, shopping and short tours.

Our main outreach programmes take advantage of festivals and are held during the Chinese New Year, Parents’ Day and Mid-Autumn Festival periods.

Through our programmes, outreach and visitations, we hope to reach out to more elderly people who are parents of church members and the surrounding community.

• Song Bo Worship Service
  Every 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month at 9.00am at the Multi-purpose Hall 3 (4th level)
• Saturday Song Bo Tea Fellowship
  Every 1st Saturday of the month (10.00am - 12.00pm) at the TPBC/LCC void deck (ground floor)
