God's Plan for you
Who created me? A HOLY
GOD
"For You created my inmost being: You knit me together
in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and
wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful. I know that full
well" (Psalm 139:13-14, NIV)
God offers life
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and
only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but
have eternal life." (John 3:16 NIV)
What we all are... separated
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
(Romans 3:23, NIV)
What we deserve... we
are given
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23,
NIV)
God paid for our sin
"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While
we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8, NIV)
We can receive the gift
"I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes
to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6, NIV)
"Yet to all who received Him, to those
who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children
of God." (John 1:12, NIV)
"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus
is Lord', and believe in your heart that god raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9-19, NIV)
Prayer is taking with God. God knows our
hearts and is not so concerned with our words as He is with
our attitude. If you sincerely believe in your heart that Jesus
is the Son of God, and want him to be the Lord of your life,
here is a suggested prayer to tell God about your decision.
"Lord
Jesus, I need you. Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross
for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and receive
You as my Saviour and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins
and granting me eternal life. Jesus, please take control
of my life right now. Please make me the kind of person
that you want me to be."
If this prayer expresses the sincere desire
of your heart, go ahead and pray to accept the gift of eternal
life from the Lord. He will come into your life and be your
Lord and Saviour as He promised.
